Situated on seventh peak of Tirumala hills, on the southern
bank of Sri Swami Pushkarini, the ancient and sacred shrine of Sri Venkateswara
is one most sought-after pilgrimage center in India. An incarnation of God
Vishnu, the great deity Venkateswara rules this territory and it’s believed
that someone who prays in front of lord’s idol in the temple gets all his/her
wishes fulfilled. Also, one can attain ‘Mukti’ in Kaliyuga worshiping Sri
Venkateswara. With such an inspiring religious significance, this divine

To avail Tirupati
darshan, registration with TTD Website is mandatory. Pilgrims are provided
with a username and password, and only one registration and one accommodation
is allotted. One can reserve for Tirupati darshan 90 days in advance through booking
at TTD website. Today, around 1, 00,000 devotees visit Tirupati for lord’s
darshan. So to avoid uncontrollable situation and to reduce the waiting time in
queues, a new facility ‘e-darshan’ has been introduced by TTD. This facility
allows pilgrims to reserve his space well ahead of approaching the destination.
Initially, a token was provided to the pilgrim but now it’s going to be changed
with Biometric system. Counters for e-darshan are available in almost all major
cities in India.
While doing Tirupati
online booking, you’ll find various options, in term of sevas, to
choose from. These Sevas differ from one
another in price charged, person allowed and Seva performing days. Considering
what you want to get, you can select the suitable Seva. For payment, you can
send a Demand Draft drawn on any nationalized bank in favor of Executive
officer, TTD. A photocopy of ID proof, passport and travel documents should
also be sent.
