Experience the Spirituality of Manali by Visiting Its Temples

Manali, located in the lap of Himalayas, is as spiritual as it is beautiful. Known as the home of the seven pivotal sages of Hindu belief, this place has a number of temples. These temples extend a feeling of deep spirituality to every visitor who steps into their portals. The place also houses temples built for unique Gods and Goddesses. Temples for these deities are not found anywhere else in India.

Hadimba temple is a very famous temple here which has been built to worship Hadimba, who was the wife of Bhim, the Pandava. A very unique temple in Manali is the Vashisht Temple. This temple was built for sage Vashisht, who is greatly revered and respected by Hindus. The specialty of Vashisht temple is the presence of hot mountain springs which are supposed to have great medicinal properties and healing properties. Manu temple is another one of the unique temples in Manali. Manu is known to be the first human created on earth by Lord Brahma and also as the creator of mankind. All these temples are a treat visually since they are built using the typical Himalayan architecture, known as the pagoda style. They are highly revered by the locals. Manali tour packages are always inclusive of these temples. Besides Manali, there are several temples present in adjoining Kullu valley as well.

To make the trip more comprehensive, you can include a trip to Shimla in the Manali package. Shimla is another beautiful hill station and the capital of Himachal Pradesh. Hotels in Shimla are excellently equipped to cater to the huge tourist traffic that the place experiences all through the year.
